My attempt at Chet Atkin's version of this lovely Don Mclean melody.

Goegeous, lovely, simply amazing :D :D :D

Really enjoyed that. Sound quality is top notch, but once again, I would have liked to hear a bit more deep 'verb, the only-esque kind...
The subtle delay didn't really do it in my opinion and the reverb (if there was any, I thought I heard a bit) was too subtle and short.

But apart from that, great, really great !

I like the way you played this and the recording sounded very good. It's a great song and you play an outstanding version of it, thanks for posting it!

I noticed that the total time for your version was 3:18. The version that I have of Chet playing it is 3:49 and I think the difference is that he's playing a bit slower, but perhaps he played an extra verse. Your version did seem slightly rushed in a few places. If you were to slow down very slightly some times, similar to where Chet does, it would probably sound a bit more soulful. Just a suggestion for you to think about. You have excellent playing skills.

Really nice!!! Marvelous technique and tone. The emotion in your playing is there but perhaps if you relaxed a bit more, don't even hint at a rush; the melody would flow, and so would the tears from your audience. Really very well done. There were a few rough spots; but nothing to criticize. I thoroughly enjoyed listening. Thanks.
